Under the Pines Story

Years ago before my three children were born I was a Director/Teacher in a Child Care Center. I later chose to stay home with my children until they were in school. When my youngest was in second grade I went back to teaching preschool at Sylvan Christian School in Grand Rapids. We later moved to Grand Haven and although I continued teaching my dream was to some day open my own school.


I envisioned a childcare center in my home where young children could learn in a comfortable atmosphere. A place with warm colors and beautiful pictures on the walls. Somewhere children could learn through play with toys designed to expand their imagination. Themes and stories to help them travel and experience different places and perhaps different parts of the world. Today I feel very lucky, because I have seen that dream fulfilled. Welcome to my childcare center!!!
